Each shape can do different things. For example square can move and shoot normally while the pentagon can only fire in one direction.

Very interesting concept, with some polish this could be pretty good, my only thought would be to add some walls or just something to give the player a frame of reference, so you can tell if you are moving or not. If that's not what you want, I would say put some text that tells you what you currently are and can/can't do at the top, next to the health bar. A couple updates and this would be really fun :)
This was a lot of fun, but like you mentioned, the audio was buggy. I feel like that ruined what was one of the best parts of the game- I love how the music changed with the shape that you were currently playing! Very unique concept, and I think I'd love playing a more polished version of this!
